2008 marks 60 years since the University of the West Indies welcomed its first class of 33 medical students in 1948, and Ian Randle Publishers, with several publications emanating from all 3 campuses of the University, will celebrate this milestone with the UWI by highlighting these publications and their authors.
Each week we'll highlight at least one publication. This week we begin with a 2007 book, Crime Delinquency and Justice: A Caribbean Reader, edited by Ramesh Deosaran, Director of the Centre for Criminology and Criminal Justice at the St. Augustine campus of the UWI.
About the book: All socities in the Caribbean region are grappling with crime in all its forms, and this work addresses both theoretical and practical issues. A broad range of areas is covered, from Domestic Violence to Drug trafficking and Terrorism. Contact us at marketing@ianrandlepublishers.com for more information on this publication.
