Beverley Manley's New York visit was nothing short of superlative. Stopping into the capital of Black America -- Harlem -- the visit coincided with the 10th anniversary of the Harlem Book Fair, a two-day literary event that attracts a broad spectrum of writers of every ilk. Mrs. Manley's book -- The Manley Memoirs found favor with readers and potential buyers who had heard of her repute but had not known of her deep devotion to advancing women's rights in Jamaica. There are those who held deep-seated resentment that she had publicly soiled the reputation of a first lady. There are those who also discriminate her pigment, class and leftist politics. However, after she bared all, revealed herself, speaking truth to power some of those individuals reversed their bias and have asked me to help them acquire a full text. They confided to me that looking at her on C-Span, hearing her talk so seemingly heartfully is changing their opinion of this independent, long-suffering, daughter. I commend the publishers of this tell-ale, I totally embrace the sentiments so easily penned in the book. An easy read, I hope libraries on the island stock the shelves with copies everyone should strive to read. If only to see photos of Mrs. Manley with Sir Eric Williams, of Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba's Fidel Castro, and others as well as the fact she hosted r&b singer Marvin Gaye, Roberta Flack and others in Jamaica. For sure, there are tons more reasons like the complexion repression in Jamaica, the gender divide, the abyss that prevents upward mobility, misguided parenting, blind dedication to party politics, patriotism, immigration, love, infatuation and more.
The book is engaging, honest and poignant.

Can anyone recommend the well-priced Network Monitoring software for a small IT service company like mine? Does anyone use Kaseya.com or GFI.com? How do they compare to these guys I found recently: N-able N-central script deployment
? What is your best take in cost vs performance among those three? I need a good advice please... Thanks in advance!
